The Money Part

Money worries shouldn't add to the stress of a plumbing emergency, so here's exactly how ours works.

How can I pay?

Card or electronic transfer both work, settled on-site after you've signed off on the number. We don't put anything through until you've agreed to it.

Do prices change once the job starts?

No. The price we quote is the price you pay. No exceptions, and nothing extra shows up on the invoice once the job's underway.

How do your quotes work?

We assess the problem on-site, then put a number in front of you before any work begins. You approve it first, so there's no guessing what it'll come to.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. It's a $0 Call Out Fee, so having us come and look at the problem never costs you anything on its own.

The Legal Side, Made Simple

Licensing and responsibility questions come up a lot, especially at 2am when nobody wants to guess.

Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?

Generally, the property owner is responsible for the private plumbing from the house to the boundary, and the water authority owns the mains beyond it. If we find the blockage sits past your boundary, we'll say so plainly and steer you to who handles it.

What does the Lifetime Labour Warranty cover?

Our labour on every job we complete. If it's not right, we come back. No questions. No cost.

Who can legally do gas work in NSW?

Only appropriately licensed tradespeople can legally carry out gas fitting work in NSW. Vaucluse's older homes often carry dated gas pipework from earlier renovations, and any work on it stays inside that rule.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We hold NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C, and every job is licensed and insured from start to finish.

Getting Us to Your Door

Here's what actually happens once you pick up the phone.

Are you really open 24/7?

Yes, genuinely. Ring at 3am and someone still answers, not a machine.

What happens after I call?

A licensed plumber talks through what's going on, agrees a price with you before anything starts, then we head to your place. No hold music, no call centre in between.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

A pipe that's burst, a toilet or sewer backing up, hot water that's cut out, or any hint of a gas leak all qualify. Anything actively damaging your home or putting anyone at risk is worth a call straight away.

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

Yes. We're on call day or night, weekends and public holidays included, so a burst pipe on a long weekend is treated no differently from a Tuesday morning.

The Vaucluse Side of Things

A few questions we hear specifically from Vaucluse households.

Which suburbs do you service?

Vaucluse is home turf, and we cover Rose Bay, Dover Heights, Bellevue Hill, Double Bay and Bondi just as often.

What does heavy rain do to Vaucluse's plumbing?

The peninsula's steep clifftop and hillside blocks mean stormwater falls fast, and intense coastal downpours can surcharge older systems built for lower flows. Lower-lying streets and bays are the spots we see overflow on.

Do you work on Vaucluse's apartments and strata blocks?

Yes. The clifftop apartment buildings alongside the suburb's houses bring shared stacks and common hot water systems, and we handle both strata and standalone jobs the same way.

How local are you to Vaucluse, really?

We're through this peninsula often, past the shops on New South Head Road and down to the clifftops near Diamond Bay Reserve. It's part of our regular run, not a suburb we only reach on a map.
